1Who processes the data
The personal data operator is ARTIFICIUM (ARTIFICIUM, Tax ID AD555295); its details and contacts are at the end of this document. This policy follows the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data" and the personal data laws of the countries where users are located ([list of applicable laws — to be confirmed by a lawyer]).
2What data we receive
- account: Telegram data at sign-in (ID, name, username, profile photo) or an email address;
- payments: plan, amount, status and payment number, the country of the payment method — without card data;
- devices: computer name, operating system, program version and a technical device identifier to bind the licence;
- country: the country you stated, the country of your payment method and the country of your IP address at the time of a cloud task, payment, sign-in or licence check. The website finds the country of an IP address in its own local database, without asking third-party services (IP geolocation by DB-IP, https://db-ip.com). The IP address itself is not stored for this; the country of the IP address is kept only in an «I am not in Russia — check» request;
- confirmation of the section "Regions and third-party services": text version, date, account or a random installation ID — without the IP address;
- waitlist and price survey: country, language, role, whether you have your own Claude subscription, your price answer, the source tag and an email address for the beta invitation. If you stated Russia or Belarus, no email or other contact is stored;
- cloud services: prompts, files you sent to cloud generation, rendering or a cloud task, and their results — only when you use these services;
- credit and cloud task log: what was run, on which model, what it cost and how it ended;
- support requests: messages in the support bot and by email;
- beta telemetry: crash reports and feature usage without project content — only if it is on; for users in Russia and Belarus it is off by default;
- YouTube API Services data — see the section "YouTube data";
- technical data: IP address, browser type and request times in security logs;
- the interface language you chose.
3What we do not collect
- bank card data: you enter it on the page of Freemius, the merchant of record;
- projects and media files on your computer: your videos stay on your computer, and Gargona does not upload them to our servers;
- your conversations with your Claude: Gargona works through Claude Code on your subscription, and requests go directly to Anthropic under your account and its rules;
- YouTube audio and video: Gargona does not download or store them.
4Why we use the data
- to let you sign in and manage your plan;
- to issue and check the licence on your devices;
- to take payments, send receipts and comply with the law;
- to run cloud tasks and generations and choose a provider that works in your region;
- to protect the service from abuse;
- to invite you to the beta and understand which prices and plans are needed;
- to answer requests and handle refunds, defects and copyright complaints;
- to improve the service from telemetry without project content, if telemetry is on.
5Legal bases
We process data to perform the contract (the offer), on the basis of your consent (telemetry, the waitlist, transfer of data abroad) and where the law provides for it. You can withdraw consent in the settings or by writing to us; without some data further use of the service may become impossible.
7YouTube data
Gargona uses YouTube API Services. What data, why, and how to revoke access is described in detail on the Hub page (/hub).
- If you connected your own channel with Google sign-in (read-only), we receive the channel title and id, its subscriber, video and view counts, and a list of your videos with their statistics. While the channel is connected we keep only the channel id and title and the Google access key (encrypted); statistics and the video list are requested for display and not stored.
- Public data of other people's videos and channels that the app receives through our API gateway when you ask for it (title, channel, duration, publishing date, views, licence, language, whether embedding is allowed, chapters from the description; search results; a public channel's data and the list of its latest videos; top comments — text, likes, reply count and date, without the authors' names) is kept on your computer for no longer than 30 days.
- When you ask for it, this data (comments included) is passed to the AI: in Studio mode to the one you connected (usually your own Anthropic account); in the cloud AI to our Anthropic account (USA); for users in Russia and Belarus the cloud AI answers through another provider.
- We do not download, cache or store YouTube audio or video; we do not combine data of different channels and do not show your channel's data to other people.
You can disconnect the channel on the Hub page: the connection data is deleted at once. You can also revoke access in your Google account (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions) — then we delete the data at the next check, within 30 days at the latest. How Google processes data is described in the Google Privacy Policy: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy.
By using YouTube features in Gargona you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.
8Data of creators on the file transfer page
When the file transfer page (/give) is launched — where a video's creator sends the source file and grants permission — we will store the creator's name, email, time and the permission record. This is needed to prove the legal basis of use. The record is kept while the video is in the user's project and for [period] after; it can be deleted on request to the e-mail in the "Contacts" section unless it is needed to defend against claims.
9Where and how long data is stored
- Data is stored on servers of [provider, country]. [Requirement of art. 27¹ of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data" on storing data of Uzbek citizens — name a server in Uzbekistan or the legal basis; to be confirmed by a lawyer.]
- Account data is kept while the account exists and deleted within [30] days after the account is deleted; payment records — as long as the law requires.
- Files of cloud generation and rendering are kept for 30 days (originals in the free online version — 7 days); after a subscription ends, cloud files are read-only and downloadable for 30 days, then deleted.
- Security logs — up to [90] days. Confirmations of the section "Regions and third-party services" — while the account exists and [3 years] after.
- Waitlist entries — until sales start and [6 months] after; price survey answers are not linked to contacts.
10Transfer of data abroad
Some recipients in the section "Whom we share data with" are outside Uzbekistan and the user's country, including in the USA. Data is transferred to perform the contract and with your consent, which you give by accepting this policy, [in the manner required by law, including art. 27¹ of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data" — to be confirmed by a lawyer].
12Your rights
You can find out what data about you is stored, correct it, export it, delete your account or withdraw consent. Write to the e-mail in the "Contacts" section; we reply within 10 business days.
13Children
Gargona is not intended for people under [16]. If we learn that an account was created by a child under that age, we delete its data.
14How we protect data
The connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in tokens and licence keys are stored only as hashes. Only those who need data to run the service have access to it.
15Changes to this policy
We publish a new version on this page with its date. We announce material changes in our Telegram channel or by email.
