Connect your own channel with Google sign-in and Gargona shows your videos and their statistics here and in the app. Read-only, and only your channel. Below: what we do with YouTube data and how to revoke access.
Connect your channel
Google sign-in gives Gargona read-only access to your YouTube account. It cannot publish, change or delete videos.
Gargona is a Windows app, a website with a member area and a Telegram bot. Together they are one API client of ARTIFICIUM and reach YouTube only through the official API and the official embedded player.
What data we receive
After Google sign-in (scope «view your YouTube account»): your channel's title and id, and its subscriber, video and view counts.
A list of your latest videos: title, publishing date, duration, views, likes and comments.
In the app, when you ask for it, through our API gateway: public data of other people's videos and channels — title, channel, duration, publishing date, views, licence, language, whether embedding is allowed, chapters from the description; search results; a public channel's title, handle and subscriber count and the list of its latest videos; a video's top comments (text, likes, reply count and date; the authors' names are not kept).
Why
To show you your channel and videos here and in the app, so you can plan and check your next videos.
When you ask for it in the app, this data — metadata, search results and comments — is passed to Claude: the AI you connected yourself. Gargona's cloud AI comes later: then it will be our Anthropic account, and another provider for users in Russia and Belarus. The privacy policy names every provider.
Publishing to YouTube from Gargona comes later, and only this way: you review and confirm each video — title, description, visibility and time.
What Gargona does not do
It does not download, cache or store YouTube audio or video.
It does not read youtube.com pages and does not use undocumented endpoints.
It does not bundle, embed or recommend tools for downloading from YouTube.
It does not combine data of different channels and does not show your channel's data to other people.
It does not sell data or pass it on for advertising.
What we keep and for how long
While the channel is connected: the channel id and title and the Google access key (encrypted on our server).
Statistics and the video list are requested when you open this page and are not stored.
In the app this data is kept on your computer for no longer than 30 days; comments are refreshed at most once a day and their authors' names are not kept.
Disconnect here and we delete the connection data at once. Revoke access in your Google account and we delete it at the next check, within 30 days at the latest.
How to revoke access
The «Disconnect channel» button on this page: access is revoked in Google and the data is deleted at once.
To refer to someone else's video, the app places a link marker: the video id, timecodes and notes. You can watch the video in the embedded YouTube player, which starts only when you press play. The marker is never exported: footage from someone else's video has to come from a lawful source — the author, a licence, or a platform that allows downloading.
